Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Healthcare Talent Acquisition Specialist to oversee end-to-end recruitment within various functional areas, initially concentrating on healthcare and health services. This is a contract position based in Baltimore, MD / Columbia, MD with a hybrid work schedule requiring onsite presence about three days per month. The contract extends through December 2026.
Responsibilities
- Manage over 20 active job requisitions in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment processes from job intake to candidate onboarding.
- Source passive candidates, evaluate resumes, perform phone screenings, and facilitate interview scheduling.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR business partners, and compensation teams to ensure successful hires.
- Lead offer negotiations while maintaining excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring cycle.
Qualifications
- Between 3 to 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally within healthcare or health insurance sectors.
- Proven ability to recruit roles such as nurses, clinical appeals specialists, UM specialists, STARS program staff, risk adjustment personnel, quality professionals, or healthcare analytics experts.
- Comfortable recruiting across diverse domains including healthcare, IT, operations, and finance.
- Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office suite, and Microsoft Teams.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology is advantageous.
- Self-motivated with strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
