Role Overview

This position is for a Healthcare Regulatory Counsel located in Boston, MA. The role involves providing expert advice on various healthcare regulatory matters, including but not limited to HIPAA compliance, fraud and abuse regulations, and digital health practices across multiple states. The counsel will also offer strategic guidance on health innovation and regulatory compliance issues, supporting organizational adherence to legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver counsel on healthcare regulatory concerns such as HIPAA, fraud and abuse statutes, and the evolving landscape of digital health across several jurisdictions.
  • Advise on matters relating to health innovations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Attend client meetings and industry conferences as necessary to support client relationships and stay current with healthcare regulatory trends.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Between two and four years of professional experience specializing in healthcare law.
  • Excellent writing, analytical reasoning, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong client service focus and ability to manage client engagements effectively.
