Healthcare Nutrition Specialist

Overview

Danone MENA is seeking a skilled Healthcare Nutrition Specialist based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on promoting Specialized Nutrition brands by building strong scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and enhancing brand market share in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

• Influence healthcare professionals' attitudes and practices towards specialized nutrition solutions through regular visits to hospitals, clinics, and private healthcare facilities.
• Establish and nurture scientifically-backed relationships with HCPs to position Danone's Specialized Nutrition products as their preferred choice.
• Communicate accurate product information, clinical data, and benefits clearly to doctors, HCPs, and key opinion leaders through scientific meetings and presentations.
• Manage the designated geographical area by identifying business opportunities, developing initiatives, and implementing weekly call plans in coordination with management.
• Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies to maintain market position.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge to address all queries and effectively manage customer feedback and complaints.
• Conduct nutrition education seminars and trainings.
• Ensure compliance with WHO and local regulations regarding infant formula marketing codes.
• Maintain accurate records of promotional activities, reports, and daily administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with team members in meetings, support event organization, and share market insights including competitor intelligence and HCP universe mapping.
• Meet defined qualitative and quantitative performance objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Dietetics.
• Professional experience: Minimum 2 years, preferably in the nutrition field or with exposure to primary healthcare centers.
• Language proficiency: Native Arabic and fluent English required.
• Key skills: Consumer-oriented approach, entrepreneurial mindset for identifying opportunities, systematic planning and rigor, transparent and respectful communication, sound decision-making, teamwork, and effective execution to achieve results.
