Role overview

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a caring and driven Healthcare Assistant for Ward A11 in the Cardiology Unit. The ward has 27 beds and supports people with a wide variety of heart-related conditions.

This is a Band 2 position with full-time hours, totalling 37.5 hours each week, and the service runs around the clock. The trust is looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and keen to contribute to a team focused on delivering excellent patient care.

What the role involves

The post supports nursing staff so they can provide safe, consistent, and patient-focused care. It is well suited to someone who enjoys helping others and wants to make a meaningful difference to patients and their families.

You should be friendly, easy to approach, and confident in communicating with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Strong organisation and the ability to manage your workload effectively are also important.
