Role overview
RCH Care Homes is hiring Healthcare Assistants for its Romford care home, a purpose-built and attractively finished setting that provides nursing, residential, and dementia support for older adults. The team is looking for caring people to help deliver day-to-day support and companionship to residents.
Key responsibilities
- Support residents with everyday personal care, including washing, grooming, dressing, and help with meals.
- Encourage mental and physical activity by joining residents in games, outings, social occasions, and other individual or group activities.
- Take shared responsibility for residents’ emotional health, physical comfort, and social wellbeing.
- Contribute to care planning and stay informed about any specialist support each resident may need.
- Assist residents with moving around safely and provide mobility support where required.

- At least 3 months of experience in a care setting is an advantage.
