Healthcare Assistant Required – Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny

Role Overview

The Healthcare Assistant supports people in their own homes by providing personal care and practical help. The role centres on following each client’s care plan, carrying out the agreed care tasks, and helping maintain the person’s comfort, dignity, and overall wellbeing.

Pay

An enhanced hourly rate is available based on experience and qualifications, ranging from €15.30 to €16.35 per hour.

Key Duties

• Help clients with everyday activities and personal care needs.
• Carry out care tasks carefully and with full attention to the client’s needs.
• Deliver care to a high standard while following company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should either hold QQI Level 5 modules in Care of the Older Person and Care Skills/Healthcare Support, or have at least one year of experience caring for others and be prepared to complete those two modules.
