Health, Safety & Environment Engineer

Job Summary

The HSE Engineer works alongside the Company HSE Manager or Project HSE Manager to help roll out the health, safety, and environment management system. The position focuses on planning, putting HSE processes into action, reviewing performance, and analyzing site activities so that HSE targets and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the rollout and adherence to the Project Health and Safety Management Plan (PHSP) and the Project HSE Management Programme.
• Organize, deliver, and take part in HSE training sessions, committee meetings, and coordination meetings.
• Guide supervisory staff on accident prevention and ways to improve work methods.
• Help lead and oversee HSE officers at the site.
• Track HSE work on the project to confirm that requirements are being followed in line with the project HSE plan and HSEMS standards.
• Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe practices every day, and ensure observation reports are raised with corrective actions recorded.
• Follow up on violations on a daily basis and recommend the needed corrective measures.
• Monitor project HSE reporting on time and help drive achievement of project HSE goals.
• Promote HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness efforts, and support incident reporting and closure in line with company and IMS policies.

Education & Experience

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. A bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, preferably in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
