Job description

About the Role

Alignerr collaborates with top AI research organizations to design and improve advanced AI models. We are looking for graduates with a Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) to assist in training AI systems by verifying the accuracy and reliability of the health information and policy analyses they generate. This role involves critically evaluating Large Language Models to ensure they adhere to evidence-based practices and ethical standards in population health, biostatistics, and global health equity. The position offers flexible remote work hours with hourly pay ranging from $35 to $55.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create sophisticated public health challenges such as disease outbreak modeling, assessment of health equity, and interpretation of clinical trial statistics.
  • Develop comprehensive, research-backed solutions referencing peer-reviewed literature, epidemiological findings, and authoritative health guidelines from organizations like CDC and WHO.
  • Perform detailed audits of AI-generated health recommendations, identifying inaccuracies, biases, or ethical concerns, and flagging misinformation or faulty reasoning.
  • Provide detailed feedback that helps AI models better differentiate between causation and correlation in health contexts and enhances their communication of risk to diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Public Health, Master of Science in Public Health, or a related graduate discipline.
  • Solid expertise in at least two key areas such as Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy.
  • Strong analytical writing skills enabling the translation of complex health data into clear, culturally sensitive, and actionable content.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially when verifying statistical significance, data sourcing, and logical consistency in health interventions.
  • No prior experience with AI is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data annotation, quality control, or evaluation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools like R, SAS, or Stata.
  • Background in health communication, clinical research coordination, or monitoring public health data.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation combined with flexible remote working conditions.
  • Opportunity to work directly with leading large language models in the industry.
  • Enjoy contractor freedoms including autonomy, agility, and international exposure.
  • Potential for contract renewals based on performance and project needs.

Application Details

  • Submit your CV for consideration.
  • Complete a brief screening process.
  • Participate in project matching and onboarding steps to begin work.

Note: Applications are reviewed daily. Make sure to complete all interview and application requirements promptly to be considered.
