Role Overview
We are inviting applications for full-time, part-time, or relief Healthcare Assistants. This role offers a valuable chance to enhance your skills in a supportive setting, working alongside seasoned healthcare professionals in a diverse and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff in delivering comprehensive, high-quality care to residents.
- Maintain residents' hygiene and personal care needs to the highest standard, always preserving their dignity.
- Support residents with eating and drinking according to their nutritional requirements.
- Help residents mobilize appropriately, including the use of correct aids.
- Escort and transfer residents as directed by nursing personnel.
- Provide assistance in end-of-life care situations.
- Perform any additional tasks deemed necessary by nurses or management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or a relevant healthcare qualification, or currently working towards one.
- Previous care experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills paired with a compassionate and caring demeanor.
- Proficient English language skills.
- Willingness and availability to work varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends, covering Monday through Sunday.
