Key Responsibilities

• Assist nursing personnel in delivering comprehensive, high-quality care to residents.
• Maintain residents' hygiene and personal care to excellent standards, always preserving their dignity.
• Support residents with their eating and drinking according to nutritional requirements.
• Help residents mobilize properly using appropriate aids.
• Escort and/or transfer residents as instructed by nursing staff.
• Participate in providing end-of-life care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing or management staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a QQI or FETAC qualification or equivalent experience in a similar caregiving role.
• Preferably have hands-on experience in a caregiving capacity.
• Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
• Exhibit a professional, caring, and empathetic demeanor.
• Adapt to occasionally challenging work environments.
• Good proficiency in English language communication.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and across the full week.
