Role overview
Silver Stream Healthcare Group is hiring full-time Health Care Assistants for Riverstick Care Centre in Curra, Riverstick, County Cork (P43 Y006). The role is focused on supporting residents with day-to-day living in a respectful, dignified, and compassionate manner.

Purpose of the role
This position exists to provide caring, supportive assistance that helps residents carry out daily activities while maintaining respectful relationships built on dignity and trust.
Key duties
- Deliver individualised care in line with each resident’s care plan to support quality of life.
- Work closely with colleagues to encourage a cooperative, integrated care environment.
- Help create a positive and reassuring setting that reflects residents’ preferences and needs.
- Provide personal care support with attention to comfort, hygiene, and safe working methods.
- Engage with residents in a warm and considerate way.
Preferred qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate will have training or experience relevant to elderly care and a background in nursing home work. A FETAC Level 5 qualification in Care of the Elderly is preferred, as is training in patient moving and manual handling. Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, ideally for at least 1 year, is also desirable.
