Role Overview

The Well Team in Sydney is seeking a Head of Workforce Deployment to spearhead strategic workforce planning and talent deployment, ensuring outstanding NDIS participant support. This leadership role focuses on aligning the right people with suitable skills to appropriate participants, driving life-changing care outcomes through the innovative WorkWell™ Model.

Dedicated to delivering exceptional NDIS support services, The Well Team operates under the WorkWell™ Model, directing recruitment, deployment, and staff development to provide personalized care.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and execute recruitment strategies anchored in the WorkWell™ Model, attracting talent that aligns with The Well Team's values.
  • Develop comprehensive workforce plans anticipating growth across service lines and geographic areas.
  • Create candidate evaluation frameworks incorporating technical skill assessment and cultural fit.
  • Implement cutting-edge talent attraction techniques to position The Well Team as a preferred NDIS employer.
  • Lead a department managing recruitment, onboarding, deployment, and ongoing workforce support to enable scaled, compliant service delivery.
  • Oversee systems translating WorkWell™ principles into daily operational staffing practices.

WorkWell™ Model Integration

  • Establish recruitment-first systems for precise talent selection.
  • Develop deployment infrastructures enabling exact staff to participant matching.
  • Ensure workforce strategies enhance participant experiences and outcomes.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Optimize recruitment quality and efficiency.
  • Enhance staff retention and engagement levels.
  • Improve workforce utilization and scheduling effectiveness.
  • Increase success rates in matching staff to participants.
  • Measure the impact of workforce development programs.

Candidate Profile

Successful candidates think strategically about workforce planning, leverage data analytics for constant improvement, balance people-centered approaches with scalable systems, innovate persistently, and prioritize mission-aligned talent.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience in HR or workforce planning.
  • Relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or allied fields.
  • Experience within healthcare or disability services is advantageous.
  • Strong capabilities in analytics, workforce planning, and system implementation.
