Role Overview

The Head of Supply Chain Management will be stationed full-time at the Ahmedabad location. This leadership role is responsible for managing comprehensive supply chain operations encompassing demand forecasting, inventory control, procurement, logistics, and distribution. The incumbent will ensure that supply chain strategies align with organizational objectives, guaranteeing timely material availability, cost optimization, and service excellence for both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the supply chain team to achieve performance targets.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Coordinate with operations, manufacturing, and sales departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Drive continuous process improvements and implement best practices.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and resolve supply chain issues.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
• Support initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong expertise in Supply Chain and Operations Management involving planning, inventory, and logistics.
• Proven skills in Procurement and vendor management focusing on cost-effective sourcing and supplier performance.
• Effective leadership abilities to guide and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Customer service orientation with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industries managing complex supply chain operations.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in ERP and supply chain planning software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a dynamic, process-oriented environment.
