Role Description

The Supply Chain Executive position at Nimba Cultura is a part-time, remote opportunity focusing on managing the flow of materials, equipment, and resources essential to supporting game tournaments and related events. The role entails demand forecasting for events, synchronizing production timelines with tournament schedules, and overseeing the logistics to ensure timely delivery of necessary items.

This role requires analyzing data to anticipate supply requirements, monitoring inventory status, and evaluating supplier performance. Close collaboration with internal departments and external partners is vital to communicate deadlines, troubleshoot logistical challenges, and enhance processes for efficient and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Strong capabilities in demand and production planning to accurately forecast requirements and coordinate resources aligned with event timelines.
• Proven experience in supply chain operations involving logistics coordination, inventory oversight, and vendor management.
• Analytical proficiency to examine data, discern patterns, and contribute to strategic decisions within the supply chain.
• Clear and effective communication skills for collaboration across diverse teams, suppliers, and event collaborators.
• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a similar discipline, or comparable hands-on experience.
• Prior exposure to event planning, media production, or cultural project logistics is beneficial.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets and supply chain planning tools, with the ability to operate efficiently in a remote, technology-driven setting.
• Excellent organizational aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and multitasking ability tailored to part-time work requirements.
