Job Summary
The Head of Studies and Planning Section will lead the development and management of strategic and business plans, aligning the General Administration’s vision with tangible operational objectives across all sectors and departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide the transformation of overarching institutional visions and strategic goals into concrete operational targets.
- Manage coordination and collaboration among internal sectors to formulate comprehensive organizational strategies.
- Liaise with government bodies, consultants, and external providers to incorporate industry best practices into strategic processes.
- Oversee the section's budget preparation and ensure financial activities remain within approved limits.
- Provide leadership and technical support to the section team, including onboarding, development, and holding regular team meetings.
- Ensure all reports prepared by the section meet accuracy and standard compliance requirements.
- Conduct systematic performance assessments for team members reporting directly to the position.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and enforce adherence to organizational policies and protocols within the section.
- Work closely with staff and training/performance departments to recognize and address developmental needs.
- Supervise and evaluate analytical and statistical research impacting organizational decisions.
- Lead the integration and harmonization of individual business plans to maintain a cohesive strategic direction.
- Regularly update strategies, action plans, and timelines to respond effectively to evolving requirements.
- Prioritize strategic initiatives and recommend critical projects aligned with institutional objectives.
- Offer guidance on engaging external consultants for specialized expertise when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Strategic Studies is essential.
- At least six years of pertinent experience in strategic planning or related fields.
