Job description

About the Company

Zeitview is an intelligent aerial imaging company focused on high-value infrastructure. The business helps organizations gain timely, actionable insight to improve build quality, lower risk, and recover revenue. Its customer base spans solar, wind, insurance, construction, real estate, and critical infrastructure, and it supports major enterprise clients across more than 70 countries. The company’s mission is to speed up the worldwide shift toward renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure through advanced inspection technology.

About the Role

The Head of Strategic Initiatives reports directly to the CFO and is part of the Office of the CFO, partnering closely with the VP of Accounting, VP of Finance, VP of Corporate Development, and General Counsel. In this role, you act as an extension of the CFO and lead execution on the organization’s most important strategic priorities, including enterprise systems transformation, operational improvement, and growth-oriented initiatives.

You will own the CFO’s strategic initiative portfolio by coordinating cross-functional work, aligning stakeholders, tracking progress, and making sure key initiatives deliver measurable results. The role calls for sharp business judgment, strong analytical thinking, a confident executive presence, and the ability to drive influence across teams without formal authority.

As Zeitview continues to grow, the company is facing greater complexity in systems, processes, and organizational design. Many priority efforts span multiple functions and do not belong to just one department. This position provides dedicated execution leadership to keep these efforts moving, enabling the CFO and executive team to stay focused on strategic decisions while ensuring initiatives stay on track and produce outcomes.

Work Location

This is a fully remote role within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of the CFO’s strategic initiative portfolio from planning through execution.
  • Convert high-level strategic goals into concrete workstreams, milestones, and accountability structures.
  • Create and maintain governance routines for major initiatives.
  • Track advancement, surface risks early, and flag key dependencies before they slow execution.
  • Raise issues and recommended actions to senior leaders when needed.
  • Keep participating teams aligned and working toward shared outcomes.
  • Run regular operating rhythms for strategic programs.
  • Organize executive working meetings and decision-making sessions.
  • Build executive-ready updates, dashboards, and reporting content.
  • Make sure action items are captured, owned, and completed.
  • Strengthen organizational discipline and accountability around execution.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic finance, corporate development, or program management.
  • Proven track record of managing complicated cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to drive outcomes and gain buy-in without direct reporting authority.
  • Experience preparing presentations and analyses for senior leadership.
  • Highly developed organizational skills and project management capability.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving ability.
  • MBA preferred, or comparable experience.

What the Company Offers

  • An influential seat in a fast-growing company where the work has a direct impact on business results.
  • A flexible culture that values outcomes more than time spent at a desk.
  • Competitive compensation with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Exposure to a high-performing team of engineers, pilots, and data scientists.
  • Unlimited PTO with a real emphasis on work-life balance and mental health.
  • Remote-first work setup with flexibility built into the role.
  • Autonomy along with opportunities for growth and upward mobility.
  • A diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where individual voices are valued.

Compensation

The base salary for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 USD per year, plus a target annual bonus. Final compensation may differ depending on experience, skills, and location within the United States.

Equal Opportunity and Accommodation

Zeitview is an equal opportunity employer. The company is committed to fostering an environment where employees can show up authentically and feel a strong sense of belonging. It actively works to build a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workforce that reflects the broader world and treats everyone with respect and dignity. The company also provides reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and for sincerely held religious beliefs in accordance with applicable law.
