Job description
Company Overview
GENERATIVE Robotics (GR) builds autonomous mobile robots that can move, sense, and operate independently in real-world settings. The company was established in Leipzig in 2026 and is still at an early stage, with its first system under development alongside its internal structures and processes.
Role Snapshot
- You will help define the funding approach, create investor-facing materials, and take ownership of financial modelling and scenario planning.
- This is an early-stage robotics startup founded by three people and based in Leipzig.
- The position offers close collaboration with the leadership team, strong visibility, and fast decision-making.
- The role gives you real responsibility for funding topics from the very beginning, at a point where these decisions have direct impact.
- The company is seeking someone with several years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, or strategy consulting with a funding focus.
Mission
GR is looking for a seasoned professional to support the leadership team in building and executing the company’s capital strategy. The role calls for strong analytical thinking, a structured mindset, and the ability to communicate confidently. You will work closely with management to shape the investment case, prepare fundraising discussions, and ensure the story told to investors matches the financial model behind it.
Key Responsibilities
- Refine the investment case and company story so that strategy, market potential, and technology are presented as one clear and persuasive narrative.
- Create presentations, investor decks, and decision documents for financing discussions.
- Build and update financial models and perform scenario-based analyses.
- Support the coordination of funding rounds, including equity rounds and potentially grants, while working with external advisors and financing partners.
- Prepare executives for investor meetings and develop structured Q&A material.
- Manage highly sensitive information, including funding talks, negotiations, and internal matters before they are made public.
What the Company Is Looking For
- Multiple years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, strategy consulting, or a similar role centered on funding and capital raising.
- Strong capability in financial modelling.
- Excellent analytical ability and a highly structured working style.
- Confident communication skills in both German and English, including communication with experienced investors.
- A strong sense of ownership paired with intellectual discipline and precision.
- A technical or engineering background is considered an advantage.
Additional Information
This is a full-time onsite role in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. The company is in an early stage, so the position involves helping build both the business and the processes around it from the ground up.
Confidentiality and Working Context
The role includes handling sensitive internal and external information with discretion, particularly around fundraising, negotiations, and matters that are not yet public.
