Role Overview
The company is seeking a seasoned Head of Strategic Finance & FP&A for the Go-to-Market (GTM) division to lead the global Financial Planning & Analysis function. This prominent leadership role reports directly to the executive team and collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, and Services teams to spearhead financial planning, forecasting, operational performance tracking, and Board-level reporting. The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge in FP&A, financial modeling, SaaS metrics, and business partnership within a fast-scaling tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Gruve Tech's worldwide FP&A operations, including managing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly updates, and rolling forecasts.
- Design and sustain long-term financial models supporting growth trajectories, profitability goals, and investment choices.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership and GTM groups to deliver actionable financial insights promoting data-supported decisions.
- Create and improve Board reporting packages, executive dashboards, and KPI systems tailored for SaaS and professional services sectors.
- Contribute to strategic projects such as pricing strategies, creating business cases, and performing financial analysis for mergers and acquisitions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline with over 10 years of advancing experience in finance and FP&A roles.
- Demonstrated leadership of FP&A in rapidly growing tech, SaaS, or enterprise software organizations.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and preparing reports for company boards.
- Experience working closely with Sales and GTM teams to back strategic expansion initiatives.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial planning platforms, complemented by superior executive communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced business qualification.
- Background in AI, cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, or technology services.
- Knowledge of NetSuite, Salesforce, and contemporary FP&A tools such as Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or Pigment.
- Experience in developing KPI frameworks and AI-enhanced financial dashboards dedicated to SaaS and professional services.
- Strong track record supporting strategic initiatives including pricing, operational enhancements, and M&A financial assessments.
Compensation and Work Location
The salary range for this position is $180,000 to $220,000 USD annually. This role requires full-time commitment at Gruve Tech's office located in Redwood City, California.
