Head of Real Estate Services and Administration

Role Overview

The position is responsible for leading and executing the Real Estate Services (RES) strategy for Standard Bank Offshore, focusing on the Isle of Man and Jersey jurisdictions. Based in the Isle of Man, the role oversees a local team there and manages a remote team in Jersey, aiming to support business goals through effective real estate solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement appropriate real estate solutions to deliver a uniform workplace experience across both Isle of Man and Jersey locations.
• Enforce Real Estate Governance standards for activities including leasing, buying, selling, and property development within both jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to retail and commercial infrastructure, as well as physical security standards.
• Oversee the execution and management of physical corporate infrastructure projects and facility maintenance.
• Drive the operational delivery of the Real Estate Services plan to align with and achieve the objectives of both jurisdictions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational background in Physical Planning or equivalent, with areas such as property, facilities, building management, space planning, and core project management competencies relevant to real estate and facilities.
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in real estate management roles, demonstrating a strong track record of customer-focused functional leadership and successful implementation of real estate projects.

• Expertise in building access management, engineering, regulatory compliance, emergency and incident response, occupant services, occupational health and safety, real estate management, security assessments, and space planning.
