About the Role

Maintel is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement and Purchasing Operations to lead and shape the company's procurement strategy. This strategic leadership role involves driving commercial value, strengthening supplier relationships, and overseeing a high-performing team to deliver sustainable cost efficiencies while supporting outstanding customer service.

• Develop and implement an effective procurement strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a top-tier Procurement and Supplier Management team.
• Negotiate commercial contracts that enhance value and protect profit margins.
• Establish and maintain enduring collaborations with suppliers and distributors.
• Drive programs to optimize procurement processes and foster continuous improvement.
• Ensure the smooth operation of purchasing activities and timely supplier payments.
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, and other departments to support overall strategic objectives.
