Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced strategic planning leader to establish and lead a new Planning, Performance and Insight function. This pivotal role will collaborate closely with the Director of Planning, People and Culture and the Chief Operating Officer to coordinate strategic planning, enhance organizational performance, and provide institutional insights. Your work will help shape the University's future through development of planning and performance frameworks and offering strategic analysis to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive strategic planning and performance frameworks.
  • Provide insightful analysis to senior leaders to support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across UHI and its academic partners to ensure planning processes add value and remain proportionate.
  • Coordinate organizational performance improvement efforts aligned with the university’s transformation goals.

Additional Information

  • Working Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.
  • Location: Hybrid working arrangement based at UHI House, Inverness.
