Role Overview
RevenueCat is seeking an experienced Head of People to lead talent acquisition and people strategy during a critical growth phase. Reporting directly to the VP of Strategy & Operations, this position oversees Recruiting and People Operations functions across the company. The role involves hands-on leadership to build a world-class recruiting organization while also enhancing broader programs including organizational design, performance management, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the People team, covering Recruiting and People Operations, currently comprising two recruiters, a recruiting coordinator, and two People Operations staff, with plans to expand.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to support rapid organizational growth while maintaining high talent quality.
- Enhance hiring manager effectiveness, improve candidate experience, and optimize recruiting processes.
- Collaborate with executives on workforce planning, organizational structure, and leadership growth initiatives.
- Advance RevenueCat’s performance management and talent development systems.
- Create scalable processes and systems to support a globally distributed workforce.
- Work closely with Finance on compensation strategy, headcount planning, and organizational investments.
- Leverage automation and AI to enhance recruiting and people operations workflows.
- Design metrics and reporting mechanisms to track hiring success and organizational health.
- Preserve and enrich company culture amidst scaling.

Experience & Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, people operations, or broader HR leadership roles.
- Proven success scaling teams in high-growth technology companies.
- Strong background recruiting for technical roles.
- Direct experience partnering with executive leadership on talent and organizational strategies.
- Proficient in managing and developing HR teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Working in talent-intensive organizations known for high hiring standards.
- Experience within developer tools, infrastructure software, SaaS, fintech, or related tech sectors.
- Background in operations or business operations with cross-functional leadership responsibilities.
- Supporting globally distributed teams.
- Building AI-driven recruiting and people operations systems.
- Cross-functional expertise in both recruiting and people operations.
First Year Milestones
- Month 1: Introduce self to People and leadership teams, immerse in company culture and structure, evaluate existing recruiting and people programs, and pinpoint quick-win opportunities.
- Month 3: Take charge of recruiting and people operations goals, demonstrate improvements in recruiting efficiency, collaborate on workforce planning, enhance hiring processes, and establish recruitment metrics.
- Month 6: Deliver sustained improvements in hiring quality and speed, strengthen interdepartmental collaboration, improve scalable processes, and become a trusted advisor on talent matters.
- Month 12: Successfully scale the company while preserving talent standards, establish a competitive recruiting function, solidify strategic leadership presence, reinforce people infrastructure, and help shape the long-term vision for the HR function.
