Role Summary

The Head of People Operations will establish and lead the people function at aion, collaborating closely with the founders to develop a world-class organization. The role focuses on scaling the team by attracting, nurturing, and retaining top talent across various locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with founders and executive leadership to design organizational structure and shape people strategy.
  • Create scalable processes for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee retention.
  • Initiate and drive programs that promote a strong, inclusive, and trust-based company culture.
  • Guide and support managers in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Manage talent development, career progression frameworks, and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and policies across different regions.
  • Enhance HR systems and processes continuously to meet the demands of the company's growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in People/HR roles, with at least 3 years in leadership positions.
  • Experience in dynamic startup or scale-up environments, preferably companies with 50-250 employees.
  • Deep understanding of HR best practices, talent management, and organizational design.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with distributed and global teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic planning with practical, hands-on execution in startup settings.
