Overview
A growing infrastructure company focusing on technology and environmental sectors is seeking an experienced Head of Mergers & Acquisitions. Reporting to the CFO, this role offers a strategic leadership position with direct involvement in multiple acquisitions annually, steering the full acquisition process to support an ambitious buy-and-build growth strategy within UK markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate acquisition prospects primarily in technology and environmental industries.
- Develop detailed financial models and conduct valuations to evaluate potential investments.
- Lead all negotiation stages, manage due diligence, and oversee transaction completion.
- Compile and present investment proposals and strategic advice to senior leadership.
- Manage post-merger integration activities aiming to unlock maximum commercial benefits.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions within Corporate Finance, Private Equity, or Corporate Development environments.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing acquisitions from sourcing through to closure.
- Advanced skills in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and negotiation of commercial terms.
- Experience evaluating small to medium enterprises, preferably with EBITDA between £500,000 and £3 million.
- Ability to operate independently and effectively engage with senior-level stakeholders.
Additional Information
Compensation includes a salary up to £90,000 per annum, supplemented with bonus opportunities and benefits. The role involves collaboration with the executive team in a high-profile and commercially critical position within the company’s active acquisition agenda.
