Job description

Company Overview

Ventrata provides a leading SaaS platform for attractions, tours, and sightseeing activities, enabling seamless ticketing experiences and supporting memorable customer journeys. Operating with global teams based in London, Brno, Lisbon, and other remote locations, the company is rapidly expanding across multiple sectors and aims to support businesses of all sizes in scaling while maintaining their unique identities.

Role Summary

The Head of Marketing will lead Ventrata's marketing efforts by combining strategic oversight with hands-on execution to build a systematic, programmatic marketing engine. This position focuses primarily on product marketing, enterprise sales enablement, and enhancing customer advocacy rather than traditional volume-based demand generation.

As the marketing leader, you will have ownership over marketing strategy, team development, campaign leadership, and operational management to position Ventrata as the premier enterprise platform serving attractions, tour operators, and cultural venues worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global marketing strategy, brand positioning, and roadmap aligned with commercial goals.
  • Create and scale a demand generation system to drive qualified leads, customer acquisition, and measurable revenue growth through digital marketing, partnerships, and events.
  • Lead cross-functional go-to-market initiatives including new product launches, partnerships, and market expansions collaborating closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships teams.
  • Establish strong product marketing and customer marketing functions to improve positioning, sales enablement, customer advocacy, and content directed at clients.
  • Enhance market positioning through competitive analysis, customer insights, thought leadership, and consistent, clear messaging across all channels.
  • Lead and grow the in-house marketing team consisting of events, content, video, and design specialists, fostering a culture of ownership, experimentation, continuous learning, and AI integration.
  • Manage marketing operations including HubSpot CRM, performance reporting, budget oversight, external agencies, suppliers, and the technology stack ensuring measurable commercial impact.

Success Metrics

Performance will be judged by the effectiveness and execution quality of integrated marketing initiatives, the sales pipeline generated through marketing efforts, and the ongoing development and capability of the marketing team.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing marketing teams within B2B SaaS environments, preferably in enterprise software featuring complex and high-value sales cycles.
  • Proven success in designing and executing integrated demand generation campaigns.
  • Hands-on knowledge of digital marketing, content strategy, brand management, and inbound techniques including SEO/GEO.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to advance commercial objectives.
  • A strong commercial focus with the ability to prioritize projects that yield measurable business benefits.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling ability, and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM and marketing automation tools with capabilities in performance tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to shift seamlessly between strategic leadership and hands-on tasks such as product positioning and technical writing.
  • Leadership skills including coaching and talent development plus an enthusiasm for leveraging AI and marketing automation.
  • Fluent English at C1 level is required. Travel technology experience is advantageous. Additional European languages such as French, Spanish, German, Italian, or Portuguese are considered a plus.

Benefits and Work Environment

  • Flexible and informal working hours encouraging employee satisfaction and extra effort.
  • Unlimited paid vacation days.
  • A dynamic startup atmosphere with options for remote work or office presence.
  • Engaging team-building activities and remote gatherings in diverse locations including Spain, South Africa, Italy, Portugal, and France.
  • Two office locations available in Brno and Lisbon, with the possibility to work from Lisbon for an extended period.
  • A young, passionate team environment enhanced by office refreshments and quality coffee.
  • Hardware and home office setup package provided.
  • Competitive remuneration with regular salary reviews and company performance bonuses.
