Job description
About the Company
Premium Inboxes is a leading provider of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 inboxes for cold email teams. The company serves more than 2,500 customers and holds a 4.9/5 Trustpilot score from 420+ reviews. Its inboxes are fully authenticated and fully managed, including DNS setup, monitoring, and same-day replacements, at around 60% less than buying direct.
The business is profitable, continues to grow each month, and has been built mostly through word of mouth and affiliates. It is also a founder-led brand: customers often mention the founder by name in reviews, and the team personally joins every customer’s Slack channel. That trust is a key advantage.
The company is now looking for one person to take ownership of marketing and put proper systems in place.
Why This Role Exists
At present, marketing is handled by an agency that sets priorities and then passes them to the founders. This creates a bottleneck, slows execution, and leaves parts of the funnel incomplete.
- Resource pages exist without email capture.
- Notion documents have not been converted into live web pages.
- Exit-intent capture is missing.
- Brand sentiment is not being tracked.
- Reporting is split across multiple agencies.
The strategies themselves are acceptable; the issue is delivery. The company does not want another consultant. It wants someone who can run the function end to end, fix the basics quickly, coordinate agencies directly, and remove the founders from the execution path.
This is the right role for someone who likes accountability and enjoys getting work shipped.
Role Setup
- Position type: full-time, exclusive contractor role with no other clients or employment.
- Reports to: Richard, Co-founder.
- Compensation: USD 120,000 per year.
- Location: remote, open to candidates in the UK, Canada, UAE, or Eastern Europe.
- Not eligible: candidates based in the US, due to a structural limitation.
- Working hours: collaboration should align with BST, within 2 hours either side.
- Team setup on day one: there is no internal marketing team; you will coordinate agencies and work alongside developers. This is a build-from-scratch role, not a handover of an existing department.
Key Responsibilities
You will own the following areas:
- Funnel basics and lead capture: launch exit-intent popups that push users toward booking calls; convert existing Notion resources into tracked live pages; and make sure every resource signup collects an email and passes cleanly into Kit, the company’s email platform.
- Data and lifecycle systems: manage the flow of lead and customer data into Kit so nurture, upsell, and cross-sell campaigns can run from a properly segmented list.
- Agency coordination: directly manage the ads agency covering Meta and Google, the email agency handling client-side upsell and cross-sell, and the LinkedIn agency managing LinkedIn content. You will brief them clearly, gather what they need, remove blockers, enforce deadlines and quality, and remain accountable for their output.
- Paid acquisition oversight: guide the direction and performance of paid campaigns while the agency operates the accounts. The business spends on Meta and Google, and you should be able to review account performance, challenge the agency, and distinguish strong work from weak work without needing step-by-step direction.
- SEO and content quality: improve SEO on an ongoing basis and benchmark performance using tools such as Search Console and GA4. You will also review every internal blog post and LinkedIn piece before publication, serving as the final quality check for brand accuracy, spelling, and competitor mentions.
- Brand monitoring and sentiment: track brand mentions and sentiment using BrandMentions, identify items that need a response, and feed the insights back into positioning, content, and offers.
- Reporting and growth planning: bring agency and internal data together into a single marketing report that is easy to trust and use. Use that reporting to shape and run the growth plan, not just summarize results. Weekly reporting should focus on the metrics that matter most.
First 90 Days
By the end of the first 90 days, the company expects the following outcomes:
- The full marketing system mapped out and demonstrated, including where data moves and when.
- Key funnel gaps fixed: exit-intent live, resources capturing emails into Kit, and Notion materials published as proper web pages.
- All three agencies fully managed and unblocked, with founders removed from daily involvement.
- Marketing reporting consolidated into one place that is actually used, with weekly reporting established and priorities aligned.
- Core marketing operations running smoothly without constant founder follow-up.
- The 2 to 3 KPIs you own clearly defined, along with what excellent performance looks like, and accountability for achieving them. Example KPIs include new inbound customers, CAC or MER on paid, organic traffic and sign-ups, and expansion revenue.
Experience and Fit
The company is seeking someone who has owned the full marketing function before, rather than someone limited to one channel. You should also be comfortable doing hands-on work yourself, including copywriting, light Framer or CMS updates, popup setup, tracking, and email capture.
Experience managing about $40,000 per month in Meta and Google spend is required, along with the ability to hold an agency accountable to performance. Strong familiarity with SEO and analytics tools such as Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or similar platforms is also expected. Attention to detail must be exceptional, and proofreading is a must because brand accuracy cannot slip.
You must be able to work BST-aligned hours and agree to an exclusive engagement.
Preferred Background
- B2B SaaS experience, particularly in outbound, cold email, or sales tooling.
- Experience working with founder-led brands where the founder is visible and actively involved.
Not a Fit
- Agency-only profiles or candidates whose experience is limited to working on the agency side.
- People who only think strategically and do not want to execute.
- Anyone who is not willing to work exclusively with this company.
Additional Notes
This role is remote and exclusive, with no other clients or outside employment permitted. The company is not seeking an advisor; it needs an operator who can own execution, systems, reporting, and agency management from day one.
