Role Overview
The company seeks a dynamic and highly motivated Head of Marketing for its European division, responsible for steering a talented team across Trade Marketing, Category Marketing, and Regional Media. This leadership role demands strategic vision, creativity, and a deep understanding of the luxury beauty market, with a focus on executing a compelling retail marketing strategy aligned with global goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead groundbreaking 360-degree marketing campaigns with creative excellence, collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, media, visual merchandising, commercial, digital, and external partners to deliver impactful product launches and events.
- Drive digital innovation and media leadership to amplify brand awareness and boost customer engagement through omnichannel strategies and disruptive brand activities.
- Oversee superior trade marketing strategies and manage partnerships with retailers to ensure outstanding marketing support and flawless implementation.
- Maintain expert knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and product categories to inform data-driven marketing and campaign development.
- Manage the comprehensive marketing budget with meticulous planning and financial oversight.
- Establish and refine processes to promote efficient collaboration and high-quality delivery across regional marketing teams and stakeholders.
- Provide visionary leadership and inspire storytelling through compelling brand narratives both verbally and visually.
- Cultivate a cohesive team culture within the marketing department and foster strong relationships across global and regional teams and external partners.
Collaborations and Reporting
- Report directly to the Marketing Director, Northern Europe.
- Collaborate closely with global marketing teams and cross-functional European divisions.
- Manage a team of four direct reports.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role within the beauty or retail sectors.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of nurturing high-performing teams.
- Expertise in crafting and executing strategic, creative marketing plans.
- Experience managing budgets and profit & loss responsibilities.
- Technology-savvy marketer with comprehensive knowledge of diverse media channels and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Adept at working under pressure, prioritizing effectively, and adapting in an agile work environment.
- Professional attitude combined with eagerness for continuous learning and embracing challenges.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused.
