Head of Marketing & Digital Performance

Role overview

An established client in the financial services and insurance sector is hiring a senior marketing leader to shape and deliver its integrated marketing and digital performance agenda. This position sits on the senior leadership team and reports directly to the CEO. The purpose of the role is to strengthen brand growth, improve customer acquisition and retention, and lift digital performance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Set the direction for the marketing and digital strategy and turn it into actions that support business expansion and customer acquisition.
• Own and improve digital marketing performance across channels.
• Plan and drive customer engagement and lifecycle marketing activity.
• Deliver coordinated multi-channel campaigns that build brand visibility and support commercial outcomes.
• Track marketing and digital KPIs, review analytics, and assess ROI to guide decisions.
• Manage, coach, and develop the marketing team, while also overseeing agency partners and budgets.
• Lead creative marketing initiatives that strengthen market position through omni-channel growth.

Requirements

• A third-level qualification in Marketing, Digital, or Business with a marketing focus.
• Demonstrated success in a comparable senior marketing role.
• Experience handling significant marketing budgets.
• Strong background in building and growing brands.
• A creative, collaborative approach with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
• Previous experience in a regulated sector such as financial services, insurance, banking, or a similar environment is preferred.

Additional information

This is a senior leadership opportunity with direct reporting to the CEO. The role is based in Westmeath and follows a hybrid arrangement with one onsite day per week. A competitive salary and benefits package is offered.
