About the Role
We are seeking a Head of Innovation & Technology to lead the growth and technological advancement of a global industrial technology firm focused on renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. This leadership position plays a critical part in defining product strategy, investment in innovation, and steering the company towards future market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year innovation and technology plan.
- Lead a diverse international team of around 20 engineers, scientists, and innovation professionals across engineering, product development, and advanced R&D.
- Manage the innovation lifecycle from initial concept through industrialisation to market introduction.
- Identify emerging technologies and trends to unlock new market opportunities and potential growth areas.
- Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with academic institutions, research centers, suppliers, and technology startups.
- Serve as the senior technical expert across multiple product platforms.
- Engage and influence senior executives, contributing to overall business strategy and decision-making at the highest level.
Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive leadership experience in innovation, R&D, engineering, or technology management roles.
- Strong background in renewable energy, solar, industrial products, advanced materials, structural engineering, or related industries.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and launching innovative technologies commercially.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate multicultural, international teams.
- Capability to blend visionary strategy with practical, hands-on execution.
- Experience building high-performing teams and cultivating a culture that embraces innovation.
