Head of Health, Safety, and Environment – Drilling and Completions – Qatar

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) to lead and guide the HSE function within the Drilling and Completions (D&C) department. This position involves directing the HSE team and providing expert advice to support both onshore and offshore drilling activities, including rigless operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE section for the Drilling and Completions department.
• Offer specialized guidance and expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters related to drilling operations.
• Support both onshore and offshore drilling and rigless operations to maintain company safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance across D&C projects.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of industry experience, including at least 2 years working onsite at rig locations and 2 years in supervisory roles.
• Proven client-side experience in drilling and completions operations.
• Familiarity and practical experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 health and safety management standards.
