- Design and implement systems to execute these processes effectively to maximize valid warranty claim submissions.
- Lead and nurture a high-performing, cross-functional warranty team, collaborating with strategic suppliers to generate long-term value and meet critical deadlines.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate team performance to ensure warranty claims are managed effectively in line with annual targets.
- Translate organizational requirements into clear actionable plans to align team activities with desired operational outcomes.
- Manage workforce planning to guarantee adequate staffing for timely claim submissions while reducing dispute risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams for seamless access to data necessary for streamlined claims processing.
- Foster robust partnerships with OEMs and vendors to optimize claim procedures, minimize disputes, and expedite reimbursements.
- Coordinate with the Senior Manager Procurement concerning contracts containing warranty or guarantee clauses to oversee reviews and provide input prior to execution.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of experience with a high school or vocational qualification, or at least 10 years with a bachelor's degree.
- Proven management experience involving warranty-related contracts.
- Experience in data management, systems, and process automation.
- Mandatory aviation technical expertise in engineering and maintenance operations.
- Thorough understanding of aviation maintenance support contracts and agreements.
- Previous experience within an aviation maintenance and/or engineering environment.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Preferred: Experience in commercial negotiations; familiarity with warranty management systems; managerial capabilities to delegate tasks, set direction, mentor, train, and foster team collaboration; competent stakeholder management including support for executive leadership; proven negotiation skills for high-value complex commercial agreements (approximately $10 million+); risk-aware mindset aligned with policy compliance balancing risk and reward.
