Aurora maintains an in-person culture with offices located in London, New York, and Los Angeles.

Role Overview

Based in Manhattan, New York with a flexible work setup allowing remote days and requiring domestic and international travel, the Head of Growth position at Aurora entails leading the full cycle of member expansion. This role involves devising and executing direct-to-consumer growth strategies spanning product, social media, digital channels, content creation, partnerships, and community engagement to attract, convert, and retain elite clientele worldwide.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will establish a dynamic team of specialists, combining technology-driven automation with human craftsmanship where necessary. The goal is to disrupt a traditionally slow-moving market by delivering a definitive and innovative product focused on fostering valuable relationships and longevity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own member engagement and conversion strategies across all customer touchpoints.
  • Develop and implement a multi-channel growth approach that attracts and keeps Aurora's prestigious customers globally, focusing initially on the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
  • Oversee Aurora's content strategy and its execution across social media, editorial platforms, in-person events, and specialist distribution channels.
  • Manage the strategy and delivery of Aurora's events, brand activations, and experiences to strengthen the company’s cultural standing and drive conversions, engagement, and membership renewals.
  • Build, lead, and manage a team of growth specialists, control the growth budget, and define performance indicators.

Candidate Profile

  • Ability to identify core drivers of growth, balancing physical, digital, media, partnership, community, and product-led channels with a focus on conviction and trust.
  • Exceptional aesthetic judgment, copywriting skill, and deep insight into customer behavior and cultural trends, transforming brand instincts into scalable growth strategies.
  • Expertise in modern distribution channels, capable of shaping narratives that spread effectively through social, cultural, and niche networks.
  • Strong operational skills including meticulous planning, budgeting, timeline management, and execution combined with data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Confidence and resilience to drive initiatives alongside executive leadership, with a demonstrated hunger to learn and a commitment to truth.
  • Proven track record of successfully growing niche products, services, or communities with measurable outcomes.
  • Preferred: Established press relationships and networks within premium or luxury sectors and potential growth partnerships.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual compensation of $240,000 total on-target earnings, comprising a $120,000 base salary plus a $120,000 bonus with up to a 2x multiplier.
  • Equity offering between 0.5% and 1% ownership.
  • Relocation support available for both international and intra-US moves, contingent on Visa status.
  • Visa sponsorship options including O-1 and H-1B where applicable.
  • Access to exclusive Aurora events and services.
  • Provision of health and wellness technology such as Whoop or Oura Ring and subscription to a private longevity program.
  • $2,000 annual budget for educational development.
  • Required technology provided to ensure optimal job performance.
  • Generous parental leave policy.
  • Comprehensive health insurance covering 90% of costs, including dental and vision care.
