Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing / Cleanroom)

Role overview

This position is for a technician based in the East (Changi) area of Singapore, supporting semiconductor manufacturing work in a cleanroom setting.

Compensation

The base pay offered is between SGD 2,200 and SGD 2,500 per month. Overtime is available. Shift allowances are provided at SGD 20 per day for day shifts and SGD 40 per day for night shifts.

Working arrangement

This is an on-site role with a 3 to 4 day workweek. Day shift hours run from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, while night shift hours run from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

What the role involves

• Carrying out manufacturing work in a cleanroom environment
• Running production equipment for testing, marking, scanning, and packing
• Maintaining quality, output, and efficiency targets
• Adhering to standard operating procedures and safety requirements
• Assisting with production support and process improvement efforts
• Helping the Shift Leader whenever needed

Requirements

• Must be comfortable working rotating shifts
• Should be at ease in a cleanroom environment
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays
• A positive mindset and a collaborative approach are important
