Finance Team Overview
Our finance group underpins a global digital asset and payment platform that operates across multiple jurisdictions with regulated payment systems involving stablecoins and digital assets. We partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Operations to support our rapid expansion while maintaining accurate, clear, and controlled financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive financial planning including annual operating budgets, long-term strategies, quarterly forecasts, and monthly updates.
- Develop robust forecasting models covering revenues, expenses, cash flow, staffing, and crucial KPIs.
- Collaborate with GTM, Product, Engineering, Operations, and People teams to guide strategic investment and resource allocation decisions.
- Create detailed executive and Board-level financial reports that highlight performance, drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead company-wide KPI tracking to provide transparent insights into operational and financial health.
- Conduct scenario analyses to aid investment, fundraising, and pricing strategy decisions.
- Institutionalize forecasting discipline and accountability while striving to hone forecast precision.
- Identify margin improvement and operational efficiency avenues through data analysis.
- Design scalable planning frameworks and systems to meet the company’s evolving growth demands.
Desired Qualifications
- Over 8 years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Development with progressive leadership roles.
- Proven track record leading FP&A teams in a fast-growing tech, fintech, payments, or SaaS environment.
- Expertise in financial modeling translating intricate business issues into actionable guidance.
- Hands-on experience crafting annual budgets, rolling forecasts, Board communications, and executive-level reports.
- Strong business partnership skills with effectiveness influencing senior leaders and across departments.
- In-depth knowledge of SaaS and fintech financial metrics including revenue forecasting, customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, gross margins, operating leverage, and cash runway.
- Excellent communication skills capable of conveying complex analyses clearly to executive audiences.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, ambiguous, high-growth settings balancing strategic insights and practical execution.
Additional Assets
- Experience with startups through Series B to D stages during hypergrowth phases.
- Background in capital raises, investor relations, and Board communications.
- Familiarity with payments infrastructure, card issuing, lending, stablecoins, or digital assets.
- Experience deploying or scaling planning tools such as Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, or Mosaic.
- MBA or CFA credentials are advantageous.

Compensation
The salary for this role ranges broadly from $50,000 up to $999,999, reflecting the experience and impact expected.
