Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations for the Group's companies within the country, managing departments such as Treasury, Payroll, General Accounting, Taxation, Internal Controls, Audit, and Cost Control.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing processes, validating account balances, reconciling trips, and completing necessary postings per schedule.
  • Generate precise financial reports within deadlines, including annual budgets, bi-annual forecasts, monthly management reports, and weekly cash flow statements.
  • Manage the annual statutory audit process to secure timely approval and filing of audited financial statements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Revenue Authorities, handling tax matters and audits to safeguard the company from any liabilities.
  • Develop and maintain the Group's Finance, Procurement, and Administration policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Lead and manage a team of more than two finance personnel, creating strategies to retain key talent.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and legislation relevant to the business environment.
  • Facilitate efficient communication of financial data to the Financial Planning & Analysis department and the Group Head of Finance for consolidated reporting.
  • Implement Group financial policies to optimize and unify finance processes at the country level.
  • Execute any additional assignments as directed by the Group CFO.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration is required.
  • Possessing a Certified Accountant credential is advantageous.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Five years of relevant industry work experience.
  • Minimum of three years in a managerial role with similar responsibilities.
  • International work exposure is preferred.
  • Motivated to contribute to the growth and development of a dynamic company.
  • Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong leadership qualities and self-drive.
