Head of Finance - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the Role

A prominent and swiftly expanding Food & Beverage firm located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a seasoned Head of Finance to lead its financial operations and collaborate closely with the Managing Director to drive strategic and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the entire finance department, reporting to the Managing Director.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure strict adherence to Saudi financial laws including ZATCA, VAT, Corporate Tax, and other statutory regulations.
• Implement robust financial controls, governance frameworks, risk management, and internal audit procedures.
• Deliver strategic financial insights to aid business expansion and operational decision-making.
• Lead and develop the finance team, enhancing financial systems, reporting, and processes.
• Collaborate with external auditors, banking institutions, and regulatory bodies as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years in progressive finance leadership roles, ideally within the Food & Beverage, FMCG, or consumer goods sectors.
• Extensive experience managing finance operations specifically within Saudi Arabia.
• In-depth understanding of Saudi VAT, Corporate Tax, ZATCA, and local compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior leadership and executive teams.
• Professional accounting certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA are strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Arabic language is advantageous.
• Strong leadership capabilities, commercial insight, and expertise in stakeholder management.
