About the Role
We are currently looking for a seasoned and strategic Head of Finance to steer our financial operations towards excellence. This role is integral to managing financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and overall financial planning to push the company’s growth and decision-making forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the compilation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Direct the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy initiatives for the organization.
- Analyze financial results, perform variance analysis, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Maintain compliance with all tax, statutory regulations, and internal finance policies.
- Lead and coordinate both internal and external audits, while managing auditor, tax advisor, and regulatory body relations.
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, banking, and treasury functions.
- Evaluate potential investments, manage financial risks, and implement cost optimization methods to foster growth.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance structures, and enhance accounting protocols.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the finance team, focusing on precision, accountability, and timely reporting.
- Support key strategic projects by creating financial models, business proposals, and delivering insightful data analysis.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or MBA are advantageous.
- At least 5 years of pertinent experience in finance roles, including a minimum of 2 years in leadership capacity.
- Deep knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, accounting standards, regulations, and reporting frameworks.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and financial management software like Zoho and QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
