Role overview
FYST is looking for a senior finance leader to oversee group-wide financial operations across the holding structure in Germany and related entities. This role is centered on strong reporting, controls, compliance, tax planning, and the modernization of finance processes in a fast-moving fintech environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the group consolidation of the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement across all companies in the holding structure.
- Oversee financial accounting and management accounting so that records remain accurate and aligned with Cypriot requirements as well as IFRS and other international standards.
- Coordinate the yearly audit cycle with external auditors in Cyprus.
- Lead the rollout and migration to a new accounting and reporting platform, including process automation and overall optimization of finance workflows.
- Plan and manage tax matters in line with business objectives and applicable local regulations.
- Build, improve, and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and operating procedures that can support continued growth.
- Guide and supervise local finance teams across multiple entities to ensure consistent, high-quality financial reporting.

- Practical knowledge of Cyprus accounting, tax, and regulatory rules.
- Hands-on experience with audit coordination, reporting systems, and finance automation tools.
- Clear understanding of revenue structures driven by payment processing, commissions, and transactional income.
- Strong analytical ability and communication skills, including the ability to explain financial results to board-level stakeholders.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, or an equivalent qualification is a strong plus.
- Fluency in both Russian and English.
