Job description
Role overview
Prima PMI is in a strong growth period and is hiring a commercially focused Head of Finance to join its leadership group. This is a newly established senior position with a broad mandate to help shape the company’s future direction.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the role calls for a strategic finance partner who can guide decisions, question assumptions where needed, and ensure business choices are supported by solid financial analysis.
The ideal person will treat finance as a business enabler, not just a reporting function, and will connect financial results, operational performance and strategy to support better decisions and long-term growth.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the Managing Director and Executive Leadership Team to support and shape commercial and strategic decisions.
- Run the finance function with strong attention to governance, financial discipline and business compliance.
- Take ownership of forecasting, budgeting, financial planning and management reporting, turning numbers into clear insights on performance.
- Create financial models, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing methods that strengthen visibility, improve costing accuracy and support commercial decisions.
- Help lift profitability, working capital efficiency, operational performance and return on investment.
- Advance the organisation’s analytics capability so data is converted into practical insights and actions.
- Spot commercial risks and opportunities early and provide considered recommendations along with constructive challenge.
- Develop effective working relationships across local, offshore and international teams to deliver strong financial and strategic outcomes.
About you
You are a commercially astute finance leader with experience in complex operational settings; exposure to manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
You hold CPA or CA qualifications and bring a solid grasp of governance, planning and commercial analysis.
Your background includes forecasting, financial modelling, management reporting and analysis of business performance.
You also have strong tax planning and optimisation knowledge, and you are comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and respectfully challenging decisions when required.
You can convert complex financial information into practical guidance for the business and are motivated by continuous improvement and data-led decision-making.
Why join Prima PMI
- Take on a newly created executive role with real influence on the company’s direction.
- Help shape the way finance, analytics and operations work together to support growth.
- Be part of an innovative, fast-moving manufacturing business that works with some of the world’s best-known brands.
- Join a leadership team that values commercial thinking, collaboration and ongoing improvement.
- Receive competitive pay, an annual bonus and opportunities for continued development.
