About Teaching Socials
Teaching Socials is a top consultancy specializing in personal branding within the finance and real estate sectors across the DACH region. The company consists of 25 high achievers who have collectively generated a stable monthly growth exceeding 750,000 euros over two years. The firm integrates visibility, client acquisition, and business growth into a unified system, with your role focused on managing its financial core.
Role Overview
As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire financial foundation of Teaching Socials. Your objectives include ensuring complete transparency, creating scalable finance processes, and enabling growth through data-driven decision making. You will act as the liaison between operational business activities and financial strategy, automating routine tasks and maintaining clear visibility on the company’s current financial position and future direction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage accounting and bookkeeping tasks including invoicing, dunning, receivables management, and coordination with the tax advisor, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead controlling and financial management activities such as profit and loss analysis, forecasts, budget planning, scenario building, and KPI tracking, preparing data to support key decisions.
- Implement automation and systems improvements in finance processes utilizing AI, Agicap, and other tools to eliminate errors and build scalable frameworks.
- Identify process bottlenecks and develop standard operating procedures and workflows to continuously improve finance operations.
- Prepare and present clear financial reports and insights to the executive team and other stakeholders.
What You Will Achieve
- Ensure complete financial transparency to keep the executive team informed of the company’s status at all times.
- Secure consistent collection of outstanding receivables.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and decision-ready profit and loss statements and forecasts.
- Create highly scalable and automated finance processes that minimize manual workload.
- Maintain smooth communication with the tax advisor and external partners.
Candidate Profile
- Proven expertise in accounting, controlling, receivables management, and invoicing.
- Strong command of profit and loss statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections.
- Experience managing communications and matters with tax advisors independently.
- Familiarity with automation technologies, AI, and finance software tools, with experience in Agicap being advantageous.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-driven, and growth-focused.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to building, testing, and optimizing processes rather than just coordinating them.
- Background in fast-growing companies or scale-ups.
- Knowledge and practical skills in developing and refining finance technology stacks.
What We Are Not Looking For
- Traditional accountants who only perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Corporate professionals lacking ownership mentality and appetite for growth.
- Candidates without experience in controlling and strategic financial planning.
