Job Role and Responsibilities
The Head of Finance will oversee the financial operations of Alistair's national offices, managing activities including treasury, payroll, accounting, taxation, audit, internal controls, and cost management.
- Ensure the month-end closing procedure is executed smoothly with validated balances, reconciled trips, and timely postings.
- Prepare accurate financial documents on schedule, including budgets, forecasts, monthly management accounts, and weekly cash flow reports.
- Lead the annual statutory audit process, securing audit completion and filing within deadlines.
- Serve as the liaison with Revenue Authorities to address tax issues and audits without exposing the company to risk.
- Develop and enforce finance, procurement, and administrative policies and controls.
- Manage and mentor a team of at least two finance personnel, focusing on retention strategies for high performers.
- Stay updated on evolving financial laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with the FP&A department and Group Finance head to ensure accurate consolidated reporting.
- Implement group-level policies to standardize and optimize finance processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Group CFO.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration.
- Professional accounting certification is an advantage.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- At least five years' relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of three years in a comparable managerial position.
- Experience with international business environments.

- Strong administrative and communication capabilities.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and leadership skills.
