About the Role

Gold & Aron, an executive search firm, is hiring on behalf of a dynamic client specializing in AI foundation models for real-time voice and audio intelligence, with over $200 million raised. They seek a Head of Editorial Content to create and steer the company’s worldwide narrative and storytelling strategy. This role involves collaboration with company founders, the Chief Marketing Officer, and senior technical staff to uncover compelling stories from within the organization and transform them into impactful, insightful content.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with product and engineering teams to discover groundbreaking technical achievements and practical applications used by customers.
• Write and ghostwrite thought leadership articles for the CEO and produce clear, informative explainers about complex AI technologies.
• Develop and maintain a strategic publishing calendar aligned with significant company updates and product launches.
• Create consistent editorial series that position the company as a reputable source for voice technology industry news.
• Leverage advanced AI tools and agents skillfully for writing, researching, and daily operational tasks.
• Coordinate closely with marketing and communications departments to maintain consistent brand messaging.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 8 or more years of experience writing or editing for technology publications, newsletters, or technical software companies.
• Exhibit strong investigative and interviewing skills to extract critical details from technical personnel.
• Demonstrate a clear and straightforward writing style that simplifies complex technical subjects without losing accuracy.
• Show genuine curiosity and passion for AI, software applications, and modern app development processes.
• Be an advanced user of AI-based tools for daily research, task management, and enhanced productivity.
• Capable of writing and publishing content quickly and regularly according to a planned schedule.

Additional Information

Preferred locations include San Francisco or New York, though remote work within the United States will also be considered.
