Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of Early Career Recruiting to lead and expand our strategy for attracting and developing early career talent throughout the company. This leadership role involves partnering with business leaders, academic communities, and talent networks to build a robust pipeline of emerging professionals aligned with our culture and standards. The position is based in San Francisco, with onsite work required on designated days.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global early career recruiting strategy that includes internships, new graduate hiring, and early-in-career talent acquisition across departments and locations.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of recruiters specializing in early career talent.
- Advise senior leadership by providing market insights, compensation trends, and strategic guidance on early career recruitment.
- Drive implementation and adoption of AI technologies and automation tools to optimize recruiting processes from sourcing through hiring.
- Design and refine programs such as internship structures, offer frameworks, and conversion pipelines to ensure efficient and high-quality hiring outcomes.
- Track and analyze essential recruiting metrics—including conversion rates, quality of hire, and time to offer—to guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with branding and storytelling teams to enhance our employer value proposition aimed at early career candidates.
- Work with internal ambassador programs to strengthen community ties and convert advocates into recruiting pipelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Over four years of leadership experience in early career recruiting, including university relations, internship oversight, and new graduate hiring strategies.
- Innovative approach to attracting and evaluating early talent, with willingness to adapt as industry trends evolve.
- Proven success building scalable, effective early career programs under fast-paced, growing organizational conditions.
- Strong strategic and operational capabilities with both high-level planning and hands-on recruiting experience.
- Data-driven mindset, comfortable using analytics to influence recruiting strategy and improve team performance.
- Trusted thought partner to executives with comprehensive knowledge of the early talent market and compensation trends.
- Experience in integrating AI tools into recruiting workflows to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
- Familiarity with partnerships across universities, bootcamps, and diverse talent communities.
Preferred Experience
- Background in program management or talent development focused on early career structured experiences.
- Significant involvement with diversity recruitment initiatives targeting HBCUs, community colleges, or underrepresented groups.
- Robust connections within the early career talent ecosystem and university recruiting communities.
Compensation and Commitment
We offer competitive salaries and benefits with a base salary range between $225,000 and $275,000 annually for candidates in San Francisco or New York City, aligned with experience and role scope.
