Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of Early Career Recruiting to lead and expand our strategy for hiring emerging talent across the organization. This leadership position involves managing university recruiting, internship programs, and early-career hiring pipelines while collaborating closely with company leaders and external talent communities. The location can be San Francisco or New York City, with an expectation to work onsite on designated days to foster teamwork and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a comprehensive global early career recruiting strategy encompassing internships, new graduate recruitment, and early-in-career pipelines across departments and regions.
- Lead and mentor a team of early career recruiters, establishing performance standards and fostering consistent growth.
- Act as a trusted consultant to business leaders, providing insights on market trends, compensation, and talent acquisition from campus and early professional stages.
- Champion the use of AI technologies and automation to enhance recruiting processes, improving sourcing, assessment, and hiring efficiency.
- Continuously refine programs and processes, including internship designs, conversion strategies, and offer frameworks, to maintain high hiring standards with speed.
- Define and track critical early career metrics such as conversion rates, quality of hires, source mix, and hiring cycle times to guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with marketing and internal ambassador programs to strengthen the employer brand in the early talent community and build strong pipelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years leadership experience focused on early career recruitment, including university recruiting and internship program management across multiple functions.
- Innovative perspective on attracting and evaluating early talent using diverse assessment techniques and staying adaptable to evolving trends.
- Proven ability to build and scale high-performing early career recruitment teams in dynamic growth environments.
- Strong strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability during peak hiring periods.
- Data-driven approach with experience utilizing recruitment analytics for improving processes and team performance.
- Trusted adviser to senior management with deep knowledge of early career talent markets and compensation trends.
- Passionate adopter of AI tools and workflows, leading teams in leveraging technology to improve recruitment outcomes.
- In-depth understanding of partnership models with educational institutions, boot camps, and talent communities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in program management or talent development, designing structured early career experience programs like rotations or mentorships.
- Demonstrated success in applying AI innovations to transform early career recruiting beyond basic tool usage.
- Background in diversity recruiting initiatives with measurable results targeting underrepresented groups and communities.

Compensation and Other Information
Notion offers competitive salary, equity, and benefits packages. For roles based in San Francisco or New York, the expected salary range is $225,000-$275,000 per annum, depending on various factors including experience and role scope.
