The Opportunity

As Fullscript continues to grow, the Design organization has grown with it. The company is now seeking a Head of Design to unify strong work across the platform into a cohesive, category-defining experience and to establish the design function for the next stage of growth.

This role offers broad scope. You will shape how design operates across Fullscript, including its strategy, standards, systems, and ways of working across every product line. You will also own the end-to-end experience for practitioners and patients, helping the platform feel like a single connected ecosystem rather than separate products.

This is primarily a leadership role centered on creating scale, structure, and consistency, while still staying close enough to the work to influence quality directly. The right leader will set a high bar, give sharp critique, and step into individual problems when needed to move the work forward. You will work as a peer within product leadership and serve as a strategic partner to executive leaders, including the CPO and CEO.

What You Will Do

• Create the roadmap for scaling the design organization as the company grows, including the systems, frameworks, and working methods that allow strong design to scale.
• Establish the design operating model, defining rituals, standards, processes, and AI-enabled workflows that improve both quality and speed.
• Set and protect the craft standard by defining what excellent design looks like at Fullscript and helping every designer on the team grow to that level.
• Lead cross-product experience strategy, oversee design governance, and ensure that products work together as one connected experience.
• Shape team structure and culture by owning role expectations, career development, talent growth, and collaboration practices across product lines.
• Participate as a senior design leader who challenges assumptions, advocates for customers, and influences executive decisions.

What You Bring

• Deep experience scaling design organizations, with strong viewpoints on design operations, working models, design systems, and AI-assisted design workflows.
• Leadership across multiple products within complex platform ecosystems, including the places where products intersect and hand off.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders, question decisions, and champion the user experience at leadership level.
• An AI-forward perspective and experience operating at scale.
