Job description
Role Overview
This multifaceted position encompasses full operational leadership of Depositary services along with spearheading business growth initiatives and expanding the current client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all Depositary client relationships.
- Strengthen the existing client base and lead the advancement of Depositary operations.
- Interface with the Central Bank of Ireland acting as the designated daily governance representative for Irish operations.
- Deliver exceptional Depositary administration services to clients consistently.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Depositary procedures and checklists to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of Depositary systems to guarantee standardized service delivery.
- Support new business development through preparing budget proposals, presentations, and relevant supporting documentation.
- Participate in thought leadership activities including industry publications, conferences, and panels.
- Report any significant issues or risks from fund activities to the Board of Directors when necessary.
Qualifications
- Professional certification preferred, such as ACCA, ACA, ICSA, or an equivalent qualification.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in fund administration with a focus on Depositary services.
- Extensive expertise in closed-ended investment structures covering private equity, real estate, infrastructure, venture capital, and private debt sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge and comprehensive understanding of Depositary services.
- Proven IT proficiency and capabilities in business development.
- Prior Central Bank approval in a comparable capacity is an asset.
