Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic instructional leadership and oversee the Technologies faculty, including Digital Technologies, Food Specialisations, and Industrial Design and Technology.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality curriculum, teaching, learning, and assessments that support student achievement, engagement, and future career pathways.
• Lead curriculum design, assessment moderation, and utilize data-driven approaches for continual improvement aligned with Australian Curriculum and Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) standards.
• Mentor teaching staff, promote a culture of excellence and continuous professional development, and encourage innovative, authentic, and industry-linked learning experiences.
• Manage faculty budgets, resources, specialist facilities, as well as workplace health and safety compliance.
• Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with local industries, training providers, and the community to create enhanced opportunities for students.
• Contribute as a leadership team member to whole-school initiatives and advocate for the Technologies discipline within the school.
