Role Overview

The Head of Department is responsible for leading the Global, Cultural and Technological Perspectives portfolio, which encompasses the Technologies learning area and the unique Agile Minds and Genius Hour programs. This role emphasizes purposeful creativity through varied perspectives and champions the innovative, ethical, and sustainable use of technologies to foster a more connected world.

Key duties include delivering instructional leadership across curriculum, co-curricular activities, and strategic priorities at the whole-school level. The role entails leading staff, contributing to student pastoral care, enhancing teacher capabilities, and supporting the development of high-quality curricula and teaching materials.

The ideal candidate is an adaptable leader with excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills, dedicated to elevating student achievement and empowering students to become confident and resilient problem-solvers equipped for future challenges.
