Job Summary

The role involves gathering and analyzing data relevant to institutions and sectors, creating frameworks and methodologies for effective data analysis and management, and offering expert advice on matters related to data governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the yearly operational plan, detailing targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and budget needs.
• Architect and enhance data structures to streamline analysis and reporting processes.
• Create and enforce frameworks and best practices for managing institutional data.
• Supervise the establishment of data operation and archiving protocols that comply with governmental standards.
• Incorporate advanced technologies to improve data management workflows.
• Assess proposed database modifications to ensure they meet organizational needs.
• Manage data security measures in collaboration with pertinent bodies.
• Perform regular evaluations of data maturity and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Develop centralized data repositories to support strategic and sector-specific information management.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least seven years of pertinent experience, ideally within government or related semi-government organizations.
• A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or a comparable discipline.
• Proven abilities in strategic planning and performance management.
• Competent in data collection and analytical techniques.
• Must possess a family book (Emirati nationals requirement).
