Position Overview - Head of Curriculum and Pedagogy

The Head of Curriculum and Pedagogy is a pivotal leadership role within one of Australia's largest regional Catholic education systems. This position involves steering curriculum excellence, instructional guidance, and evidence-based teaching practices throughout the Diocese's schools. The role focuses on enhancing principal and teacher capabilities, leading system-wide curriculum execution, fostering pedagogical quality, and driving instructional improvements aimed at elevating student learning outcomes.

• Demonstrated significant leadership experience as a Principal or senior system leader.
• Proven track record in steering curriculum implementation, advancing pedagogical standards, and fostering instructional enhancement.
• Exceptional leadership skills, including coaching ability and the capacity to influence and develop educational personnel.
• Superior communication and stakeholder engagement expertise.
• Broad experience in leading curriculum reforms, promoting evidence-informed teaching, and managing educational improvements within complex settings.
